Dr Nafo (RBM Executive Director) with the Minister of Health of Thailand HE Dr Witthaya Buranasiri and his delegation In a series of high-level bilateral meetings at the margins of the United Nations General Assembly, RBM Executive Director, Dr Fatoumata Nafo-Traoré urged stronger political leadership and increased investment in the fight against malaria to address key challenges to malaria control in Africa and the Asia Pacific region, including the threat of spreading drug and insecticide resistance.

The Strategic Framework for Malaria Communication at the Country LevelOn 5th September 2012 the RBM Partnership launched The Strategic Framework for Malaria Communication at the Country Level, a key reference document for policy makers and a road map for enhancing the impact of communication in malaria control efforts at the country level to improve the uptake and use of malaria prevention and treatment.
