Race Against Malaria planning ramped-up in Southern Africa

Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, URT-Zanzibar, Zambia and Zimbabwe are ramping up their plans to launch the second “Race Against Malaria” – which will link Southern African communities together to commemorate World Malaria Day in April 2014.

United Against Malaria (UAM) Named Global Campaign of the Year

UAM was named as the winner of the PRWeek Awards "Global Campaign of the Year." The announcement was made at an awards ceremony in New York which gathered more than 900 leaders from the communication, PR, advocacy and advertising industry. The PRWeek Awards are the premier awards within the communications industry. UAM is one of the first UN-affiliated initiatives to receive such an award.
