Roles and Responsibilities of GMAP2 Task Force:

At its 23rd meeting in Dakar, the Board decides to establish a new time-limited Task Force to oversee the development of GMAP2 which will cover the timeframe 2016-2025.

This Task Force leads the development of GMAP2 and reporst to the Board on progress.

This process of development should be consultative and aligned with the WHO Global Technical Strategy for Malaria Control and Elimination 2016-2025.

The crafting of the GMAP2 is taking a highly participatory approach involving stakeholders from across the RBM constituencies, including Governments, Bilateral & Multilateral Agencies, Foundations, Research & Academia, Civil Society and the Private Sector. Regional consultations are already underway. GMAP2 Task Force oversees the process and closely coordinates with the elaboration of the WHO Global Technical Strategy for Malaria.
